Very friendly park, 20% park models, but all are made to feel very welcome. Favorite of many snowbirds, some have been coming here for many years -- this is our 5th season. More activities than you can participate in and the four spas and two swimming pools are wonderful. Downside is it is 40 miles from the nearest Wal-Mart, but the park has a store and fresh veggies are brought in twice a week.
All back in sites, some with outdoor kitchens (not hooked up to propane), some with cabanas, but not always on the side your door is on. Heavy vegetation, often interfering with slide outs, but staff is very helpful to trim as needed. Dog friendly, but few places to give dogs a chance to walk off pavement. Dog washing station with hot and cold water and two sinks. Plenty of dog poop bags and disposal containers located throughout the park. Great facility for rallies with a large meeting room. TV worked with RV antenna, but only analog signals available - turn off your converter!
What a find! We were only here one night, should have planned more. A Passport America park(one night), lots of shade trees, but high enough not to interfere with slides or tops of campers. Sites available without trees for satellite users. Good cable, wide sites with grassy area, huge grassy area in park, a short walk to the Snake River, also a fishing pond requiring no license. Moderate freeway noise, but not objectionable. Very friendly staff and welcomed Passport America members.
Great landscaping with big views of sunsets: this is a Passport America park (50% off). There is an extra charge for 50 amps. The spaces are long, but not too wide.
It is a Passport America park, thus the $16 rate. All sites are grass, most side by side. 50 amp service is not available at all sites. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The Rio Grande flows next to the park, just a short walk away. This park is a real find, and the Passport America affiliation just makes it that much nicer. You could dry camp on the river bank if you were so inclined. A great stop in central Colorado. Excellent cable TV. A few blocks of dusty gravel road getting back to the park.
We camped in a newer section, thus trees were very small. However, they did not get in the way of slides and awnings! There is a nice paved perimeter road, great for walking or biking, about 1 1/2 miles around. Very friendly owners and work kampers here. A section of grass for each site, watered every night. One of the cleanest and nicest laundry rooms we have ever encountered in an RV park. The river has a swimming beach, and the lake Coeur 'D Alene is spectacular!
This is a good overnight park. The owner is very friendly and the park is fairly clean and well maintained. Local scenery is a big bank that the river has cut away. Fishing is available, and there are plenty of walking trails. Train tracks are nearby: very audible! The grass was dead. The owner let us clean the eastern Montana grasshoppers off the front of the M/H, but would charge for water if we wanted to wash the whole rig.
Family owned and run campground. Nice people, but park was pretty run down: very casual maintenance. The laundry room was very dirty, we had to sweep it out prior to using it. Nightly country music from a Wyoming couple. We would stay at the other campground in Medora next time.
Great owners, they really made you feel welcome. A smallish park with adequate sized sites, close to all local attractions. It was well maintained. There is lots of room for dogs to run, also a closed-in dog park.
